Staff and Cadets Complete Hadrian's Wall Expedition

Cadet Warrant Officer SelhiCadet Warrant Officer SelhiCongratulations to Cadet Flight Sergeant Jared Selhi, who has been awarded the rank of Cadet Warrant Officer.


The Cadet Warrant Officer rank is the highest rank a Cadet can achieve.  The Cadet has to be at least 18 years of age and has to pass interviews and meet the required criteria to be recommended for the rank.

Cadets achieve their next training classification

Cadet Bailey, ACadet Bailey, ACadet CookCadet CookCadets Adam Bailey, Annabel Cook, and Harry Longfield were awarded their Senior Cadet classification.  Also Ethan Bailey was awarded Leading Cadet classification.


To achieve this, they had to study three subjects and pass the online assessments.

This represents the culmination of all of their classification training reaching the highest classification that they can achieve.

Reverend Ian ParrishReverend Ian ParrishThe Squadron's Padre Reverend Ian Parrish has become the Priest in Charge of the Parish of All Saints with St Philip, Maidstone and  St Stephen, Tovil.


Tuesday the 21st October saw Ian undertake a formal licensing service attended by some 200 people, including Staff and Cadets from the Squadron.  The service was conducted by the Bishop of Dover, the Right Rev Trevor Willmott.

Annual Inspection 2014

A sunny but windy day saw the Cadets undertake a parade where all of the Cadets take on the executive roles of the parade, and then reviewed by the Officer Commanding Flt Lt Chris Tate RAFVR(T), awards presented, and then followed by a Squadron activity day.


The day is an opportunity for the Squadron to recognise and to be proud of the achievements of the Cadets and for their parents and guests to gain an insight into the standards they achieve and the activities they take part in.
